Position Summary As a Field Marketing Representative for Illicit Brands, you’ll serve as the face of our brand at the dispensary level across Missouri. You will focus on building strong relationships with retail staff (particularly budtenders), delivering in-store education, identifying sales opportunities, and providing real-time insights to the sales team to drive revenue. This field-based role blends brand ambassadorship, customer service, and tactical support to increase sell-through, visibility, and loyalty for Illicit Brands and its product lines. Essential Functions The Field Marketing Representative plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining Illicit Brands’ presence and reputation at the point of sale. Customer Relationship Building Cultivate strong in-store relationships with dispensary staff, especially budtenders and floor managers. Act as the brand’s frontline educator and engagement specialist, increasing awareness and enthusiasm for Illicit’s product offerings (Illicit, Space Cadet, Monopoly Melts, etc.). Know budtenders by name at regular accounts and foster brand affinity. Sales Enablement & Opportunity Generation Identify reorder signals and sales opportunities during store visits and communicate them in real-time to the Sales Rep. Schedule or coordinate sales rep visits, reorders, trainings, or events as needed. Maintain strong knowledge of product SKUs and market trends to make informed suggestions during visits. Education & Brand Representation Provide product knowledge boosts, distribute educational materials, and share updates on new launches. Coordinate light brand activations, mini pop-ups, or budtender events with sales team Deliver branded merchandise, POS materials, and marketing collateral as needed. Field Reporting & Communication Maintain accurate notes in CRM platforms (Leaflink, HubSpot) based on daily visits. Document display locations, brand presence, staff feedback, and reorder signals. Coordinate closely with Account Executives and report back on warm leads, product demand, or event follow-ups. Operational Support Restock branded materials, samples, and swag bags regularly. Use route planning tools (Google, Lit Alerts) to structure efficient travel between accounts. Represent the company with professionalism and positive energy at all times. Qualifications Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older Valid driver’s license; clean driving record High School diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of experience in field marketing, cannabis brand ambassadorship, retail sales, or related field Passionate about cannabis and brand storytelling Comfortable with CRM tools and route planning apps Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced field environment Independent self-starter who can also collaborate with team members Comfortable being on the road daily (50%+ travel within city) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs (displays, materials, etc.) Frequent standing, walking, bending during store visits Comfortable working around cannabis products and strong aromas Compensation Details Salary + field bonuses Commission/bonus structure tied to brand activation KPIs and sales support Medical, Dental, Vision Reports to CRO 50%+ in-field travel (Missouri) EEO Statement Illicit Brands is an equal opportunity employer.
