Marketing Brand Specialist 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars 743 River Highway, Mooresville, NC 28117 Position Overview As our Marketing Brand Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating our brand’s presence through developing and implementing marketing strategies, with the primary goals of increasing brand awareness and driving in-store traffic to increase market share and achieve sales targets. This position is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker who can work independently, taking the initiative to lead all our marketing efforts while collaborating with our staff for content support. The Marketing Brand Specialist also plays a key role planning, organizing, and coordinating customer events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully. This includes identifying and meeting with potential event customers, initial event planning, execution, and post-event evaluation. The Marketing Brand Specialist will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality events that meet client objectives and expectations. Responsibilities Work closely with the Executive Team to develop and execute marketing strategy and maintain consistent branding across the organization. Understand and support our company’s values, brand and business development goals. Take a lead role in upholding and developing our work hard/play hard company culture. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and attract customers to our store. Develop social media marketing and branding strategy. Manage content creation for all our digital platforms, including website updates, social media posts (Meta Business Suite, etc.), and email marketing campaigns. Design engaging graphics, social media videos, and product photography that reflect our brand’s aesthetic and values. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and tools, continuously seeking innovative ways to engage our audience. Utilize SEO best practices to improve our website’s visibility and ranking. Monitor and analyze website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools to optimize marketing campaigns and report on campaign performance. Utilize software such as Canva, Adobe, etc. to design and maintain corporate marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, business cards, store displays, etc. Collaborate with store associates for content creation, utilizing their expertise for educational content. Plan & direct in-store photoshoots Design & Submit material for print magazine & newspaper ads Attend networking events and visit co-branding partner sites to take photos as needed. Actively seek out chain opportunities and partnerships to expand distribution and increase sales. Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies Plan & co-host vendor and agency events, coordinate with external vendors as needed. Generate creative ideas for PBR company events, customer appreciation initiatives, and tradeshows. Develop strategies to attract attendees and raise awareness of events. Design and order event marketing materials in cooperation with Director of Finance. Manage customer event planning process from concept to execution (promotion, client meetings, research, contracts, guest lists, venue preparation, catering, equipment, marketing materials, etc.). Manage event budgets ensuring expenses stay within allocated funds. Monitor costs throughout the planning process and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Manage Membership growth while maintaining the highest industry standards to maximize member retention. Qualifications 4+ years of professional marketing and graphic design, with a proven track record of success in brand promotion and content creation. Experience in the Retail industry extremely helpful. Creative and strategic thinker, with a passion for driving brand growth and delivering exceptional consumer experiences. The Marketing Brand Specialist must be able to convey our brand to a wider audience in new and improved ways. Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software/tools. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other graphic design experience necessary. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, and Instagram. Experience with CRM software and similar marketing automation software. Excellent written communication skills; strong verbal and presentation skills. Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Must thrive in a self-directed and fast paced environment. Be proactive in anticipation of business needs. Must be able to work to high standards and expectations with little supervision. A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a congenial, drama-free work environment, aligning with our company culture and values. Availability to work in-office full-time.
