This job is responsible for providing advancedend-to-end operational support for securities, loans, exchangetraded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiplelines of business, and cross-business functional support throughthe lifecycle of a trade. This position will beon an operations team within the AMRS Exchange Traded Derivativesorganization that supports US Listed Option product for Bank ofAmerica Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smithclient bases. The team is responsible for all operationalcomponents of the option trade life cycle, from the moment afterexecution through settlement. Some of the job functions includetrade date and trade date + 1 position and trade break reporting /reconciliations, trade allocations, exercise instruction, corporateaction processing, exercise and assignment balancing, optionposition transfers and cash reconciliations of trades.
Additionally, this position will be responsible for aidinginitiative efforts across the US Listed Options organization. Thiscandidate will primarily work with operations teams in Charlotte,NC and Jacksonville, FL, but will have opportunity to liaise withbrokers, clients, exchanges, CCPs, compliance, front office and LOBpersonnel. The ideal fit for this role is a candidate who possessesa high level of intellectual curiosity and desire to take onprocess ownership, the ability to network within neighboring teamsto develop process understanding
Responsibilities:
Provides operational support for one or more activities withinthe lifecycle of a trade, including trade processing, tradesettlement, accounting and reconciliation, lifecycle events, andcollateral management Provides simplified client interactions and deepens clientrelationships across Global Banking and Markets’ clients Completes accurate, timely clearing and settlement of tradeswith internal and external counterparties including reconciliationmanagement and governance of trade fails and breaks Performs tasks accurately during high volume periods in a teamenvironment Improves and simplifies the client experience, reducing manualtouchpoints Supports the implementation of new processes to improve theoverall business operating model Identifies and flags potential risks in a timely manner
