- Primary Function
- We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, detail-oriented Internal Communications Assistant to join our Strategy and Planning team.
The successful candidate will support End User Technology in executing internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, technology adoption and ensure consistent messaging across the organization. Hybrid-On-site Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 month contract, could extend Pay rate: $30-$36/hr.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- + Assist in the development and implementation of internal communication plans.
+ Draft, edit, create and distribute internal communications content, including but not limited to emails, intranet articles, campaigns or post. + Coordinate with various departments to gather and disseminate information. + Create visual content and powerpoints for internal communications using design software (Adobe, Canva, etc). + Manage and update the internal communications calendar. + Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and suggest improvements. + Maintain internal communication channels and ensure content is up-to-date and relevant. + Provide administrative support to the Internal communications team including scheduling meetings for intake, organizing files and content. + Experience in managing projects, with the ability to oversee initiatives from planning through to execution and evaluation. + Strong analytical abilities to assess processes and identify areas for enhancement. + Ability to create and deliver effective training programs tailored to the needs of the organization. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Skills & Qualifications
- + Proficiency in M365 productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a deep understanding of their functionalities and best practices.
+ Project management background strongly preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey process changes and training materials to a diverse audience. + Experience creating and maintaining documentation for processes and training materials. Strong presentation skills are a must.
- Education & Experience
- + A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. + 3-5 years of experience in marketing/communications.
