Marketing Specialist North Carolina Bar Association Cary, NC 27513 • Hybrid work The North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) is looking for a marketing specialist who can make an immediate impact on our team as we refine and renew our marketing communications to members and all legal professionals in North Carolina. In this role, you will deploy your current depth of knowledge of marketing and social media best practices to support our overall marketing initiatives. You will help provide strategic approaches on messaging, targeting and deployment, and coordinate statewide campaigns to 15,000+ members, while helping reach our membership goals with cross-departmental responsibilities. Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field 1-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, design or relevant field Experience executing social media campaigns and responsivity across Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram Strong writing and copy-editing skills, experience writing for multiple audiences and platforms Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including a positive and professional attitude

Full Time / Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities General Responsibilities Serve as liaison for North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Foundation programs, events and marketing efforts Ideate on content across departments to promote programs, events, and opportunities for member involvement Analyze current marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement Work with cross-functional teams to produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns and marketing communications Digital + Social Media Marketing Plan, create and post digital content and campaigns for NCBA and NCBF social media channels Ability to create and follow a campaign calendar for multiple digital platforms Able to use targeting and boosting features across social media platforms Knowledge of KPI/tracking of marketing and advertisements (i.e. read insights from Facebook or X, CTR, impressions, engagement, etc.) Create marketing materials such as graphics, presentations, literature, videos and social media posts Update ncbar.org and ncbarfoundation.org websites using WordPress CMS Creating email templates for NCBA and NCBF marketing efforts Desired Competencies Social media publishing platforms, such as Buffer, HootSuite, Sprinklr, etc. Experience using email marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp or Constant Contact WordPress or other website content management system Adobe Creative Suite design software Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.
