See how at www.cognizant.com Job Summary The Digital Marketing Consultant will oversee marketing automation and analytics projects ensuring seamless execution and delivery. With a hybrid work model, the role requires managing campaign management technologies and supporting marketing strategies for our Life Sciences. The candidate will drive impactful marketing solutions that align with company goals and enhance societal engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Comprehensive Assessments:
Lead end-to-end gap assessments of current digital marketing scenarios, specifically in areas of campaign operations, digital marketing data, tagging & taxonomy, data quality, and governance.
Facilitate Client Workshops:
Independently plan, organize, and conduct workshops with diverse client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate findings, and build consensus.
Develop Strategic Roadmaps:
Based on identified gaps and client objectives, prepare detailed recommendations and actionable implementation roadmaps for digital marketing transformation.
Manage End-to-End Implementation:
Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of roadmap execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to strategic goals.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage an integrated onshore and offshore team of 5-6 resources, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Project & Client Management:
Drive overall project deliverables, ensure successful outcomes, and serve as the primary communication lead for all project-related client interactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate and interact effectively with various client teams, including Marketing, Brand, Advertising Agencies, Digital Strategy, Data Strategy, IT, and any other relevant downstream user teams.
Qualifications:
Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing operations, marketing technology, or marketing data strategy, with a strong background in consulting or client-facing project leadership roles in lifescience/pharma industry
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, campaign management, data governance, data quality best practices, and enterprise-level tagging & taxonomy principles.
Analytical Acumen:
Proven ability to conduct thorough gap analyses, synthesize complex data, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Client Engagement:
Exceptional workshop facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior client stakeholders.
Project & Program Management:
Strong track record of successfully leading and delivering complex digital transformation projects from strategy to implementation.
Team Leadership:
Experience in leading and managing diverse project teams, including both onshore and offshore resources, with a focus on coaching and development.
Collaboration:
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong relationships across various functional areas within client organizations (e.g., Marketing, IT, Data, Agencies).
Technical Familiarity:
Understanding of key marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, DAM, CMS, Marketing Automation) and their integration points
- Claravine Tool Experience will be add on BS in Science or equivalent Applications will be accepted until June 25th, 2025.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $66,896 to $132,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
