The Vita Coco Company is hiring for an Influencer Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for developing and supporting effective influencer marketing strategies to promote our brand, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement. This role will work closely with influencers, agents, and the content/brand team to execute successful influencer marketing campaigns. The role sits on the Content Team, an exciting new team that lives as a sub-set of Growth Marketing. The influencer marketing specialist’s role will be to make Vita Coco a top brand in CPG when it comes to Influencer Marketing, eliciting that feeling of being everywhere on key platforms like TikTok and Instagram – through a combination of Paid & Earned tactics.

Main Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution:

Collaborate with the brand and content team to execute on (and fine tune) existing, comprehensive influencer marketing strategy Ensure influencer strategy continues to be aligned with our broader content marketing strategy, while also hitting on brand goals Constantly be looking for optimizations on current processes Help us find ways to innovate when it comes to our strategy and how we develop content Identify & Engage Influencers Own the relationship between influencers/creators and The Vita Coco Company, serving as the face of the brand Ensure comms is inline with brand TOV Own the in-house influencer tool (GRIN) from vetting to contracting to reporting Plan, execute and manage end-to-end Influencer marketing campaigns, including setting goals, aligning on KPIs, drafting briefs, finalizing contracts and managing budgets (paid) Ensure Vita Coco is getting best-in-market rates and exceeding industry benchmarks for performance (engagement rate, CPM, CPE) Content Creation Collaborate with influencers to develop break through, authentic content that resonates with out target audience and aligns with our brand’s core values We don’t want to churn out Ads. We must do things differently, better, more creatively. Relationship Management Nurture and maintain strong relationships with influencers and agents, ensuring successful collaborations Always ensure we are working with the closest possible person/entity to the talent Performance Tracking and Analytics Monitor and analyze the personalize of influencer campaigns, providing regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders that evaluate campaign effectiveness Stay current with trends Stay up-to-date with the latest influencer marketing trends, best practices and emerging platforms to continuously optimize our strategies Attend industry events, network, and be the go-to for the who’s who in influencer marketing

Qualifications:

1-3 years of Influencer Marketing or relevant agency experience Deep understanding of social media platforms and what tactics are successful in growing followers, increasing engagement, and generating impressions Passion for bringing a CPG brand to life on social, with a proactive test-and-learn mentality Proficient knowledge across platforms; Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to build relationships with internal and external teams Self-starter with the ability to follow processes as well as conceive new ideas Excellent problem-solving skills and creative forward-thinker Trend tracker; someone who knows what is happening across platforms and can identify ways to integrate the brand. Great negotiating skills! Innovative and creative in approaching ways to expand the business Proficient MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Willingness to move fast, break some rules, and have some fun! At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $50,000-$60,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
