Whatyoull be doing:
The VP, Strategic Marketing will partner closelywith the CMO to drive high-priority marketing initiatives toaccelerate WEKA’s growth. This role is ideal for a strategic,execution-oriented leader with experience in fast-paced,data-driven environments who thrives on tackling complexchallenges. You’ll leverage your skills in project management,process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensureseamless execution and measurable outcomes on key marketinginitiatives. You’ll oversee our pipeline driven teams from SDRs,Americas and EMEA Field & ABX marketing team and MarketingOperations & Analytics. As a VP Strategic Marketing, you’ll:
Strategic Planning and Initiative Execution – Work alongside theCMO to define, prioritize, and execute strategic marketinginitiatives that drive key organizational goals. This includessetting clear objectives, establishing timelines, and ensuringresources are effectively allocated. Cross-Functional Alignment andProcess Optimization – Act as the central coordination point acrossmarketing and other departments, improving communication andensuring that all teams stay focused on shared outcomes. Developstreamlined processes to enhance operational agility without addingunnecessary complexity. Project Management and Performance Tracking- Oversee the execution of high-impact projects from inception tocompletion, setting milestones and tracking key performanceindicators (KPIs) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Regularlyreport on progress, highlighting successes and proactivelyaddressing obstacles. Communication and Problem-Solving – Act as aliaison, facilitating information flow between the CMO and internalteams. Proactively address bottlenecks and resolve issues impactingproject timelines or deliverables, providing clear, data-drivenrecommendations when needed. Support for Culture and ChangeManagement – Foster a culture of accountability, agility, andperformance within the marketing team. Support change initiativesthat drive continuous improvement adapting to evolving businessneeds in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Data-DrivenAnalytics & Insights – Work alongside the CMO to define,prioritize, and drive predictive marketing analytics and insightsacross the org. This includes setting clear objectives,establishing the right KPIs, and ensuring a standard scorecard formarketing’s performance. Marketing Operations & Governance – Drivedata strategy and governance to ensure high-quality, accuratemarketing data for segmentation, targeting and decision making.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry bestpractices in marketing data handling and system usage. TeamManagement and Pipeline – Oversee and manage the inbound andoutbound SDRs to ensure alignment with pipeline targets. Manage theABX and Field Marketing teams ensuring a targeted account approachto deliver pipeline to the business. Manage the MarketingOperations & Analytics team to deliver a data-driven strategy andgovernance for the marketing organization. Requirements ABachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field;an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. 10-15 years in strategicproject management, operations, or executive support, with abackground in management consulting or high-growth environments asa plus. Strong ability to support long-term planning and makedata-informed decisions. Demonstrated experience managing complex,cross-functional projects from start to finish. Excellent writtenand verbal skills, with proven capability to align cross-functionalteams. Proactive in addressing challenges and adept at adjusting toevolving priorities. High EQ with strong relationship-building andconfidentiality handling. Results-oriented, curious, and thrives infast-paced settings with a focus on continuous improvement.
