Job Description Ashley Hall is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Strategist to join our collaborative and experienced Marketing and Communications team. This highly visible role plays a critical part in shaping the school’s digital voice and enhancing engagement with prospective families, alumnae, parents, and the broader school community. The strategist will lead the development and execution of digital initiatives that support enrollment, advancement, and community engagement goals. This role collaborates closely with the Admission, Advancement (Fundraising), and Alumnae Engagement offices, as well as other departments, making significant contributions to brand alignment and storytelling across all digital platforms. Key Responsibilities Digital Strategy and Content Management Lead the development and maintenance of digital content across all school web and social media platforms. Manage ongoing website content updates to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand messaging. Strategically manage Ashley Hall’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Utilize SEO strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and user interaction across all digital channels. Conceptualize and execute creative digital campaigns (organic and paid) to tell the Ashley Hall story. Communication Coordination Serve as editor for the weekly parent newsletter, repurposing relevant website content and ensuring timely communication. Establish and maintain organizational processes for regularly updating digital content. Collaborate with departments to highlight campus events, academic programs, and student achievements through engaging multimedia content. Analytics and Optimization Monitor and report on web and social media analytics; recommend improvements to enhance performance and audience engagement. Ensure all digital communications align with Ashley Hall’s brand and quality standards. Stay up-to-date on digital trends and technologies, providing recommendations for adoption and innovation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing digital content, websites, and social media platforms. Proficient with content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, Google Analytics, and SEO practices. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in education or nonprofit environments is a plus. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting or working at a desk and on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g., promotional materials, equipment for events). Ability to move around campus for meetings, events, and content gathering (e.g., photography, interviews). Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, cameras, and video equipment. Visual acuity to read and produce digital content and printed materials. Time Commitment Typical Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; schedule may vary based on departmental or school needs.
Evenings/Weekends:
Must be available to occasionally work evenings or weekends to cover or attend school events.
