The Marketing Content Strategist will strategize, plan and lead the execution of marketing strategies and objectives of our national janitorial company and others as assigned. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented team member to join a highly motivated marketing team dedicated to growing our janitorial business in the US. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategizes, plans, and oversees the execution of all marketing and sales support efforts for our national janitorial company, Service Management Systems. Creates consistent marketing plans, campaigns, and strategies for inbound and outbound marketing initiatives while working in partnership with the Vice President of Marketing. Generates proposals according to RFP specifications and deadlines. Develops online marketing content using exceptional writing skills to maintain a consistent market presence in areas including, but not limited to, blogs, emails, websites, etc. Responsible for the ideation, creation, and execution of email campaigns for our B2B business. Creates and manages social marketing campaigns and ads for our brand using platforms such as Pardot, Social Pilot and Meta for Business. Develops strategies to engage with followers and grow brand awareness on pages. Monitors and analyzes data analytics to improve performance and optimize account. Works closely with marketing creative/design team to facilitate the completion of creative projects and campaigns, such as websites, emails, collateral, presentations, etc. Maintains daily communication with business development, field operations team members, and other marketing team personnel in order to complete projects. Manages Salesforce CRM platform, updating opportunity information, maintaining customer/prospect/competitor profiles, and generating reports. Monitors prospect activity using Pardot and Salesforce, and reports engagement to business development. Researches and follows up with incoming leads. Researches and mines data online as needed to maintain database integrity. Coordinates sponsorship and advertising opportunities. Plans and coordinates trade shows and events, including emails, communications, logistics and preparing and shipping materials. Assists with planning and coordinating major internal events as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
Demonstrate strategic thinking along with executing plans required. Ability to be detail-oriented, organized, prioritize, and multitask effectively required. Attention to detail and accuracy are required. Creative and proactive communication skills required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Attention to detail and excellent proofreading/editing capabilities required. Experience working with Pardot (or similar system), preferred. Experience working with Salesforce.com preferred.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
