Responsibilities:
A member of the University Marketing Strategy team, the Marketing Strategist serves as the key Marketing and Communications liaison for Educational Innovation, working on Belmont Online and Executive Education initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, implementing and managing effective marketing campaigns aimed at promoting online and exec ed programs. The strategist leads logistics, creates and executes integrated marketing and communications plans to increase enrollment and enhance the brand visibility of these online initiatives. This involves planning and implementing strategies across various channels, including paid advertising, email marketing, web, social media, video, and print.

1. Identify, develop and deploy direct marketing strategies to drive lead generation and recruitment. In consultation with University Marketing, Belmont Online and Executive Education teams, generate and execute marketing and advertising plans, media planning and budget recommendations. Create and manage digital marketing strategy for both in-house and externally executed campaigns. 2. Partner with fellow Strategy Team members to optimize marketing plans for student/ executive recruitment, identify marketplace threats and research marketing channels to ensure effective reach to the target audiences. Stay current on online education marketing trends, competitive campaigns/ activity and the general higher ed and executive education marketplaces to inform strategies. 3. Create content that resonates with prospective Belmont Online students, organizations and corporate partners, leveraging new technologies that will include Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Education Cloud. Provide strategic input on marketing journeys that move prospects down the recruitment funnel. 4. Collaborate with writing social media, video and photo teams to develop and produce compelling projects, strategies and collateral for use in recruitment. 5. Gain a deep understanding of the admissions and recruitment funnel and act as a marketing liaison across Belmont Online, Executive Education and non-degree products, collaborating with Admissions, colleges and external partners. 6. Oversee the development, maintenance and optimization of web and email content, incorporating SEO and digital marketing techniques, and use CRM systems to analyze data and forecast enrollment trends. 7. Manage online marketing channels, content for the Belmont Online website, and social media platforms to drive inbound traffic and engagement. Other duties as assigned.
Required EducationRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or other related discipline.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline. Required Experience4 to 6 years of Marketing experience.
Preference for work in higher education, especially roles related to admissions, online education, professional education/certification/certificate programs/corporate learning and development/leadership development.
