Months Description:

Assume responsibility for all aspects of the project progress for the assigned vehicle. Prepare all necessary milestones in cooperation with the involved departments according the product development process. Analyze and prepare countermeasures in case of deviations in cooperation with the cross functional team. Implement decisions from product committees and in pursuit of the product objectives in terms of cost, timing and quality. Find the best possible compromise for the assigned project by challenging all involved departments and preparing a fully evaluated decision paper for the responsible product committees with respect to timing, costs, customer, competition and quality).

Responsibilities:

Steer and track all assigned tasks according to the PEP in cooperation with the involved departments Initiate cross-functional teams to work on specific tasks in order to achieve milestones according to the PEP (for example. Äko meeting, FAKOM team) Pushing matters, incorporate involved departments and preparing decision papers with technical/ commercial feasibilities, quality-, marketand competitor aspects Continuous participation in Product Teams, giving active input/aiding decision making and securing timeliness and quality of input by involved departments Participation in “Fachgruppe” and other relevant committees (for example R D team, launch related teams) to ensure alignment with project targets and decisions Presentation of specific points in the corporate committees Prepare briefings to support the top management (for example SoFa, WiFa, MAF, KAF, DEF) Collect, analyze and evaluate information from competitors using all available sources Execute specific tasks or assignments.

Experience:

3-5 years of professional experience in automotive or related industry 3+ years of experience of automotive product and/or project management

Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic approach Problem solving orientation and motivation to work around obstacles Ability to steer cross-functional teams Demonstrated capabilities in writing & presentation skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a positive, solution orientated attitude High level of communication skills Influencing and negotiation skills Ability to think entrepreneurial Constant monitoring and adjustment of decided measures Professional automotive related experience (for example OEM, supplier) Special expertise in one of the following areas: R D, production, logistics, quality assurance, purchasing, finance or sales Knowledge of automotive industry: retail operations, industry trends & competitive environment, manufacture Experience/ qualification in product-/ or project management Prior team leadership experience Seasoned communicator experienced in the diverse cultures of a global company including. factories, corporate, field, & dealerships.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Engineering) or Business or international equivalent
