The coordinator will work closely with the media buyers and director on all marketing and advertising campaigns, planning and executing media related strategies and projects. Their tasks include traditional and digital media buying, planning research, coordinating media relations and tracking metrics to evaluate communication efforts. As a media Coordinator for traditional and digital media this candidate should be highly organized and proactive. Will help with daily tasks, assist in fast paced tasks with deadlines, assist media buyers with campaigns on multiple platforms including TV, cable, radio, out of home and digital. They will also be a liaison between media buyers and vendors, reporting directly to the media team. Tasks will be under the direct supervision of the media team. Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and monitor media schedules
- Create media estimates
- Confirm orders
- Make good review and approval
- Assist in developing, executing and monitoring media plans
- Market Research
- Report on performance
- Proofread and revise contracts and agreements
- Audit and reconciliation
- Maintain media relations / update contact list
- Input on Quarterly media newsletter Required Skills
- Problem solving, troubleshooting, resolving issues and building relations with Media
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills
- Critical thinking, collaborator, self-starter, research oriented
- Customer service experience, Teamwork environment
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint Preferred experience
- Proven experience as a media assistant or administrative role
- Familiarity with media terminology and process
- knowledge of media buying software (Strata, Eleven, SBMS) Bachelor’s degree or education in: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related fields.
