The Media Planner/Buyer’s primary role is to provide dedicated media planning and buying support and guidance for Impact Partnership’s top client. In this role, you should be an effective negotiator, have the ability to manage multiple markets, and be effective at creating relationships with media vendor partners. Responsibilties Utilize industry research data to help with the development of media recommendations Investigate, plan, and negotiate opportunities for airing financial radio and TV shows Plan and negotiate radio and TV commercial schedules Evaluate, compile, and present media options Implement, monitoring and delivery of all media orders Create and maintain media plan schedules Reconcile and manage media billing Oversee traffic delivery for all TV commercials/shows Media plan optimization – Monitor response, costs and return on investment (ROI) to make quick media buy adjustments Monthly status update calls with client Proactive research and updates on options in new potential markets and current markets Calls/Meetings directly with vendor partners Ability to make quick decisions on any pre-empts and makegood based on past performance and optimization Requirements/Skills Positive attitude is required Strong traditional broadcast experience required Familiarity with Nielsen, TapScan, Scarborough and other media industry tools Excellent communication and negotiation skills Well-organized with a strong attention to detail Ability to work at a fast pace and prioritize tasks across multiple accounts Strong knowledge of the current media landscape Experience Bachelor’s Degree required Major in Advertising or Marketing Min 5+ years of media planning/buying or media sales experience required Digital media planning/buying experience a plus Benefits Impact Partnership offers a positive and upbeat work environment; Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA (flexible spending)/Dependent Care, STD (Short Term Disability), Life Insurance, 401k (match), Paid Parental Leave, Holiday Pay and a very generous PTO (paid time off) benefit.
