Job Summary:

This position will be a highly motivated and data driven individual helping to manage local retail media and support larger media strategy analyses and executions. This role will work closely with agency partners, make recommendations across all local media channels, manage budget, among other projects. This role collaborates with other members of the Retail Marketing Team and the broader La-Z-Boy Marketing organization. Additionally, this position will own the media planning and execution of high impact local events and the onboarding of new store/market acquisitions, including managing media vendors through the transition process. Efforts directly contribute to store traffic and sales for the company-owned Furniture Galleries retail system, across 67 DMAs and 200 stores.

Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

(other duties as assigned): Support in multiple facets of quarterly Retail media strategy and execution of existing DMAs of traditional and digital media. Communicate with agency partners, plan recommendation review, assisting in providing direction to agencies, and incremental budget increases/decreases; support onboarding of new store/market acquisitions, including managing media vendors through transition. Manage media selection, agency communication, media budget management, recommendation review with Retail Media Strategy Manager, and presentation summary for multiple single-store events per quarter. Assist in managing Retail digital campaigns, including direction to agency partner as needed, monitor digital KPIs through weekly and monthly agency reports to measure success against the campaign goals and achievable outcomes. Provide data-based recommendations to Retail leadership for optimizations and testing in partnership with agencies. Also, site tag management with internal and external teams as needed. Monitor traditional media reporting for deviations in activation, including planned-vs-purchased reporting, post-buy reports, and broadcast Buy Detail Reports. Manage makegoods and under performance with agency partner. Assist in Retail media budget management, including confirming buys are executed to budget and accurate budget entry in budgeting software.

SCOPE & IMPACT

This role, in partnership with the manager, is responsible for planning and management of local traditional and digital media in DMAs across the US, with media budgets of $40+ million. This role will work frequently with other members of Retail Marketing, and with broader Marketing team members to a lesser extent. This position provides the daily management of media and is a large contributor to store traffic and sales for the company-owned Furniture Galleries retail system.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent 4+ years of experience with local media planning including both traditional and digital media execution Strong working knowledge of retail programs or promotion Must be proficient in (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and versed in creative services and production Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be capable of prioritizing multiple projects Up to 5% travel may be required
