Job Description

Manager, Planning, GroupM Worldwide, LLC, New York, NY. Develop media plans to address consumers at a granular level to determine what types of messages resonate with them, identify correlation patterns between how a campaign contributes to conversions, consumer behavior, regional preferences, and creative preferences, among others. Apply marketing analytics as a practice to optimize future campaigns. Provide media planning recommendations across all channels. Initiate creative and business-building ideas. Develop, execute, and present media plans from inception to completion. Facilitate client requests, including plan changes, budget changes, and marketplace information. Manage the day-to-day media planning and client service activities while implement media plan. Analyze research to develop media objectives, strategies, and tactics. Interface with clients, internal departments, and web publishers to manage online media buys in coordination with trading partner. Analyze campaigns and recommend strategic changes to maximize campaign performance. Create a weekly written analysis of media performance.40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. $157,040/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Psychology, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

  • TV, Audio, OOH, Digital Media, Search, SEO, SEM, and Mobile;
  • Principles of marketing and advertising, media concepts and terms, and creative and budget requirements;
  • Leveraging media and research-related tools to turn data into actionable insights, such as Comscore, Vivvix, NMI, or Pathmatics;
  • Analyzing research to develop media objectives, strategies, and tactics;
  • Handling digital media platforms, such as Social, Search & Display and Video; and
  • Using working knowledge in Platform Preference, knowledge of various channels and platforms that target which audience members engage with and when, to effectively choose media on which to run campaigns.
