Job Description
Direct the management of resources and budgeting for the Department to increase efficiency; Develop and establish objectives and policies to be complied by all levels of subordinate employees within the Department; Direct, plan, or implement policies and objectives to maximize productivity; Review overall business plan of the company and direct all levels of managers within the Department in achieving long-term goals; Implement corrective action plans to solve departmental problems; Analyze operations to evaluate performance of the company to determine areas of potential cost reduction, improvement, or policy change; Direct and coordinate the production related activities, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations; Direct the development and implementation of production process to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency; Manage and control the monthly/annual production plan to ensure timely production according to the production plan; Review reports submitted by subordinate managers to recommend approval or to suggest changes; and Direct the selection of Department managers or high-level staff and assign responsibilities to them.•Director of Product Development Department•is sought by an auto-parts manufacturer in
