There are three main areas:
1. Technical Support
- resolve issues with installed systems 2. Project Management
- plan and support large installation projects 3. Product Management
- plan and manage product development projects The person in this role will guide and manage MadisonWater products and large projects through their respective life cycles.
Responsibilities and duties:
Technical Support
- will require interfacing with customers, Sales, Engineering, vendors, and others to be the main point of contact and source for resolution. Project Management
- will require working with customers, Sales, Engineering, Production, and other areas to assist with successful completion of the sale and installation of products. Scheduling, planning, and communicating will be activities that are critical to the projects’ successful outcome. Product Management
- will be the result of understanding the water leak detection market, and working with Sales and Engineering to formulate a cohesive multi-generation product plan.
Implementation of this plan will include managing product development projects, pricing schedules, and other product related details.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Education Requirements:
Required Technical aptitude, ability to learn and become a subject matter expert in water leak detection systems Consistent collection, assessment, and reporting of product performance data, sales data, and market intelligence in order to maximize profit per product through the entire product life cycle. Apply the analysis and technical product acumen necessary to recognize and deliver new, innovative, and profitable solutions. Display positive persistence, optimism, and empathy in all interactions. Proven excellence in critical thinking, analytical skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal communications Ability to accurately and completely gather and document information Competent in MS Office products. Efficient in email, internet, and sales automation/CRM applications.
Preferred:
Possess technical product knowledge and an understanding of the applicable industries, applications, companies and contacts, along with Marketing, customer service, operations, and new business development techniques The right person will have: Strong Leadership skills Interpersonal skills that promote cooperation and engagement Decisiveness Problem-solving skills The ability to delegate effectively Time management skills
