Job Overview:

The Finance Manager will use proven expertise infinancial analytics, forecasting, and insights to support Marvin’sbusiness strategy. This position will be responsible for supportingthe need for financial analysis within Marvin by introducing andincorporating industry best practices for analytics, measurement,reporting, and insights. The position will work closely with product development and productmanagement leaders to create and implement product and processanalytics that measure impact of activity and investment in orderto influence new ways of thinking for key stakeholders in allgeographies and levels of the organization. Highlights of your role:

Develop financial insights that are clear, compelling andactionable to drive awareness of business and financialresults. Develop the process for offering business analytics to providevisibility into results and financial impact of investmentsincluding, but not limited to, the product developmentprocess. Proactively engage with functional leaders and their teams toprovide insight into business challenges and needs from a financialperspective. Provide executive-facing insights, analytics, and presentationsto shed light on financial performance and drive businessdecisions. Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure analytics arealigned with enterprise goals and objectives; ensure leaders areequipped with the necessary tools to make informed business andfinancial decisions. Partner with various business partners, and colleagues tocreate effective analytics and consider multiple points of view andbusiness impacts into an analysis. Implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategiesfor assigned initiatives. Use metrics to inform strategic plans onhow to improve, enhance or innovate future programs andtactics. Develop and lead a team of finance professionals to deliverhigh-quality financial support and analysis. Able to travel up to 10% to other company sites. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

$110,000

You’re a good fit if youhave (or if you can): Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management andwork across all levels of an organization. Comfortable developing analytic plans for a variety of businessprograms and projects An executive presence with polished and well-developedfacilitation, written and oral communication skills, demonstratingcreativity and technical expertise. Assertive and confident with a strong point of view while ableto understand/empathize and support other perspectives. Intent onbuilding trusting and collaborativepartnerships/relationships. Ability to turn complex, financial analytics into insights thatare appropriate for different audiences and business lines (e.g.senior leaders, managers, all employees). Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solvingabilities. Able to work as part of a finance team, focused on building a”great place to work” culture and continuously upholding thepurpose and values of Marvin. Also want to make sure you have: 5+ years work experience leading financial analytics processand execution Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, with a proventrack record of managing a team and mentoring staff. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, math, orrelated field Experience working with customer-facing functions within aRetail or Consumer Packaged Goods organization.
