Job Description

  • The Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use.

The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Lead Product Manager Leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, andworks under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

  • + Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of product development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. + Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • + Collaborate with diverse teams, including marketing, operations, compliance, and IT, to ensure effective product development and successful implementation. + Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • + Ensure that all products comply with industry regulations and internal quality standards throughout the development and implementation process. + Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • + Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product implementations and measure against strategic objectives. + Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Training and Support
  • + Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for staff to ensure a thorough understanding of new products and their functionalities. + Provide ongoing support to teams involved in product rollouts to address any challenges and enhance execution.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • + Foster a culture of continuous improvement by gathering and analyzing feedback from customers and stakeholders to refine product offerings. + Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness in product development and implementation.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • + Bachelor’s degree or 8 years equivalent experience + 2 years of leading implementation of new products or service offerings + 2+ years of project leadership experience.

  • 40 •Pay Range•The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $126,300 – $173,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
