Purpose :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Line Manager to oversee DASI’s go-to-market strategy for Pratt & Whitney Used Serviceable Material. This role requires a deep technical understanding of Pratt & Whitney engines and a strong grasp of market and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales through inventory management and ensuring operational efficiency within our product line.
Key accountabilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the Used Serviceable Material (USM) product line. Collaborate with the Sales, Repairs, and Management teams to support USM sales and leasing activities, providing detailed technical documentation and analyses. Assist in the pre-purchase evaluation of aircraft engines and inventory as required. Support engine teardown activities and coordinate with Engine Service Centers to optimize repair processes and minimize capital investments. Develop pricing strategies and bidding tools, assisting both inside and outside sales teams to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Evaluate FAA Airworthiness Directives and OEM Service Bulletins, assessing their implications for sales and leasing opportunities. Audit Life Limited Part summaries, Airworthiness Directives, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy. Provide post-sale and post-lease support to customers and partners, addressing any issues or concerns. Perform other duties as assigned.
Key skills and competences:
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are imperative. Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to drive product strategies. Strong financial acumen, including experience in cost and margin analysis. Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook) or equivalent software.
Preferred skills:
In-depth understanding of jet engine IPCs and ESMs to create best USM practices. Ability to make commercial decisions based on technical engine knowledge and USM market dynamics. Strong aptitude for identifying and addressing challenges effectively along with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously across multiple time zones. Has existing relationships with the target market and knowledge of current market pricing and trends.
Experience and qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace product management, preferably related to Pratt & Whitney engines. Strong technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engines, particularly in relation to Used Serviceable Material.
