Full Job Description Location:
Orlando, FL PURPOSE Reporting to a VP of Customer Experience and Marketing, the Assistant Product Manager will be focused towards assisting in continuous product category growth and the strategic objectives of the product business team. Daily activities will include preparing and maintaining critical product data, assisting new product R D, competitor analysis, interchanges, market intelligence, and product item maintenance. JOB DUTIES
Support aggressive new product development by tracking milestones for product launches Research new SKU application data, prices, VIO, and OE sales to produce new product sales forecasts Assist Marketing and Product Management Team in preparing executive level product line reviews that include current product category value propositions, market share, market intelligence, industry trends, and Right-to-Win strategies Maintain product status reports through life cycle changes, rationalizations, and catalog consolidation process reviews Interact with sales teams, category management, pricing team, engineering team, catalog team, customer service to gather and distribute information. Support customer presentations and fact-based materials to educate current and future partners Maintain competitive part number interchanges for consistency and accuracy Participate in the development of product sales and training literature Support sourcing, procuring and shipping samples for Research and Development Participate in data maintenance activities in support of the company’s systems, including Pinnacle, Powerlink, and Fuse 5 Review product images and catalog selling data Work with technical and customer service lines where needed for customer inquiry resolutions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree in a technical or business major ( Preferred) Understanding of major functional systems within an automobile (For example, lights and wheels) Proficient in MS office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Experience working in cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail Minimum 10% travel (site visits, trade shows, commercial team support) Ability to travel without restrictions to engage in visits to our facilities and customers Physical requirement: able to handle 45 pounds of product/samples
PREFERRED SKILLS 2
