SaaS Full Job Description Summary of Responsibilities:
Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with company objectives. Collaborate with engineering to design and deliver technology solutions, participating in architecture decisions and helping assess future risks and opportunities. Lead modernization initiatives by evaluating legacy systems, facilitating build vs. buy decisions, piloting new capabilities, and crafting phased implementation plans. Translate business challenges into clear technical requirements and product features. Build consensus on technical approaches that prioritize scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Identify and address implementation risks that could limit innovation or long-term product value. Independently drive cross-functional feature discussions with business stakeholders, developers, legal, finance, and others. Manage product backlogs, prioritize work based on impact, and align development efforts with strategic priorities. Influence vendor and partner decisions; help stakeholders understand the trade-offs involved in technology choices. Leverage data and key performance indicators to monitor product performance, diagnose issues, and inform decision-making. Gather user feedback and iterate to improve product quality and customer experience. Contribute to operational planning and drive improvements in product development processes. Stay current on industry trends, especially in platform modernization, payments, and enterprise systems.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in enterprise technology, SaaS, or large-scale system integrations. Experience/Other Requirements Strong background in system architecture, API integrations, and cloud-based product delivery. Familiarity with payment systems and pricing platforms. Experience modernizing legacy systems and driving large-scale digital transformation. Comfortable translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements. Strong analytical skills with a data-informed approach to decision-making. Experienced in Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration. Skilled in preparing product artifacts such as user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and other collaboration tools.
