Duties:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic ProductAnalyst to support the planning, coordination, and execution ofproduct initiatives for internal and vendor-managed technologyproducts serving financial advisors. This role will be critical inmanaging product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals,coordinating cross-functional teams, and performing rigorousproduct testing. The candidate will play a key role in delivering impactful toolsand solutions in the financial services space, improving theexperience and effectiveness of financial advisors throughinnovative technology.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Product Roadmap Management:
Collaborate with internal product managers and external vendors tomaintain and track product roadmaps. Monitor progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals andtimelines. Facilitate roadmap planning sessions and gather input fromstakeholders.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Act as the liaison between product, engineering, design,compliance, operations, and vendor teams. Drive communication to ensure timely delivery of features andupdates. Organize and lead project update meetings, sprint reviews, andrelease readiness discussions.
Product Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute test plans and scripts for new product featuresand releases. Partner with QA teams and business users to validate functionalrequirements. Identify bugs or issues, document them clearly, and trackresolution through completion.
Product Performance Analysis:
Collect and analyze product usage data to support ongoingimprovements. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on productperformance metrics. Assist in post-release reviews to assess impact and inform futureenhancements.
Skills:
Technical & Analytical Skills:
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agiledevelopment practices. Experience writing and executing test cases or using testing tools(e.g., Postman, Selenium). Ability to analyze data using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience or strong interest in financial services, especiallytools for financial advisors, wealth management platforms, orinvestment technologies. Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations infinancial technology products. Prior knowledge of billing systems a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills – as well as a”roll up the sleeves” mentality – sufficient to independentlyoversee multiple project from start to completion. Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiativessimultaneously. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Comfort in working with both technical and non-technicalstakeholders.. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as stronginterpersonal skills.
