$122,000 – $135,000 Are you an experienced and highly technical Commercial Lines Product Manager ready to drive innovation and growth? Our client is seeking a hands-on leader to spearhead the development of new commercial insurance programs. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for creating, enhancing, and implementing comprehensive insurance products that directly address market needs and fuel our business expansion. What You’ll Do:
Lead Product Development:
Drive the end-to-end development of new commercial lines insurance products and programs, from concept to launch.
Innovate and Enhance:
Continuously enhance existing products, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in a rapidly evolving market.
Technical Expertise:
Apply strong technical acumen in insurance product design, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
Regulatory Filings:
Manage and oversee regulatory filing processes, including submissions via SERFF and IRFS.
Data-Driven Decisions:
Utilize advanced data analysis to identify trends, measure product performance, and drive strategic adjustments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner effectively with underwriting, actuarial, legal, claims, and sales teams to ensure successful product implementation and adoption.
Strategic Execution:
Develop and execute robust product strategies that align with business objectives and deliver strong ROI.
Project Management:
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget.
What You’ll Bring:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in commercial lines product management within the insurance industry is essential. Proven track record of developing and delivering successful commercial lines programs that meet or exceed ROI expectations.
Technical Acumen:
Deep understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, specifically commercial lines. Strong familiarity with ISO rules, forms, and regulatory filing processes. Experience analyzing competitor filings and market data is highly preferred. Proficiency with development and submission of filings via SERFF and IRFS .
Analytical Skills:
Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify key trends, and translate insights into actionable product strategies. Experience with advanced data creation and analysis is a strong plus.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Leadership & Influence:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus.
Business Acumen:
Solid understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and their impact on product development.
Adaptability:
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver new programs with accuracy, on time, and within budget.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Certifications:
CPCU or similar insurance certification. #
