Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Product Manager III for their Atlanta, GA/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
The main function of a product manager is to oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, focusing on defining product strategy, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful software products.
Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key features and timelines.
Prioritize features and initiatives based on value and impact.
Translate customer needs and requirements into detailed product specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure requirements are clear and achievable.
Effectively communicate product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders.
Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing.
Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
Develop, track and manage project plans, timelines and scope.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
PMP or PMI certification.
Proven project management experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
People management and team building skills.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
