Senior Director – Software Business Model As a Sr. Director Software Business Model here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for implementing IT capabilities to commercialize and sell Honeywell software products to customers either directly or through intermediaries like channel partners. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to drive software revenue growth by transitioning from on-premise perpetual license model to cloud-based outcome-based SaaS offerings. You will lead the IT implementation team and manage software & service vendors to implement solutions and drive adoption by platform and business product teams. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the future of Honeywell software business partnering with software acceleration strategy team and software functional business leader. You will report directly to our CIO of Digital Engineering and VP of IT and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, Georgia location on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and implement comprehensive strategies aimed at optimizing the end-to-end lifecycle of software products from an IT systems capability perspective
- Enhance operational efficiency and drive process improvement to support software commercialization initiatives, while co-owning the FORGE operations center to facilitate upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Engineer and deploy robust solutions to bolster software commercialization capabilities, including but not limited to: o Subscription management solution like
SAP S4 BRIM
o Entitlement management like Flexera o Sales Opportunity management through CRM solution like Salesforce o Integration of customer success platforms like Gainsight o Software contract management o Software pricing strategy
- Promote the adoption of AI, GenAI and Agentic AI for use cases aimed at reducing customer churn, identify pricing opportunities, optimize contract renewals etc.
- Drive roadmap for adoption of standard IT solutions based on Global Design Model (GDM) across multiple business groups and product teams.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams consisting of platform engineering team, cloud hosting team and product engineering teams to ensure successful launch of new software products
