Job Description:

The Product Line Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability by focusing on the top-performing products and key customers, while simplifying and streamlining the product portfolio. This role develops product strategy including roadmap and work closely with business development manager and sales team to build the right product innovation funnel for focus segments. Bridges the gap between the sales organization and operations, translating business objectives into actionable engineering requirements. The Product Line Manager will support existing products, lead efforts to simplify lower-priority products, and ensure that new derivative products align with market demand and company strategy. Collaboration across departments is essential to meet productivity, quality, and delivery goals. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by optimizing top-tier products and focusing on the needs of key customers.
  • Simplify and streamline the bottom-performing products in the portfolio to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency.
  • Own the product lifecycle from development to end-of-life, ensuring revenue growth, market relevance and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to develop healthy product innovation pipeline and strategize the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of product-specific training content and advisories.
  • Manage product changes, releases, and product support for commercial organizations globally.
  • Facilitate forecasting, product stock levels, and the execution of product end-of-life processes in collaboration with the D&O Manager.
  • Serve as the primary contact for product-related inquiries, delivering day-to-day product support. Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, marketing or engineering.
  • Proven experience in product development and revenue generation strategies.
  • Strong technical skill demonstrating ability to communicate product capabilities, attributes and values
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate product value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service, action-orientation required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP, and other relevant business software. Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Interpersonal skills to coordinate, negotiate, build consensus and resolve issues
  • Combination of strong technical background and business acumen
  • Strong technical background combined with business acumen to drive product success
  • Ability to set overall goals, break down to a series of tasks and multi-task
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
