Job Description
Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the discovery, development, and evaluation of new product ideas and strategic enhancements to existing offerings. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to translate insights into actionable product strategies, ensuring a seamless integration of business goals, customer needs, and market demands. This position is ideal for someone with strong business and technical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving complex customer problems through innovative product development—especially within the Commercial Consigner solutions space.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead product management efforts for more complex products and features within an assigned product area or customer base.
Discover and evaluate new product ideas and enhancements by leveraging research, client feedback, and industry trends.
Partner with UX research, marketing research, client solutions, and other business stakeholders to understand and solve user pain points.
Compile and analyze customer, market, and financial data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate customer insights and business problems into actionable epics and feature requirements.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.
Collaborate with manufacturer OEMs to identify challenges and develop product-based solutions.
Drive continuous improvement of Product Management processes and best practices.
Evaluate and support cross-functional initiatives that have a positive impact on product performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years’ experience in a related field Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and conduct detailed requirements analysis.
Experience overseeing system and technology integration initiatives.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies.
Demonstrated experience working within AGILE product development environments.
Experience collaborating with both onshore and offshore development teams.
Must have experience in Commercial Consigner solutions.
Experience with the Actuos platform is a strong plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trusted partnerships across teams.
Demonstrates integrity, innovation, execution excellence, and a strong drive for results.
