Job Descriptiontalech is searching for aproduct manager who can help execute our vision for the talech Webproducts and applications by defining requirements and prioritizingscrum team backlogs.
Success for this role is defined by the abilityto provide our customers with a delightful and reliable experienceto drive to business outcomes. Your key objectives within this rolewill be to work cross-functionally with our web team and our bankpartners to understand customer requirements, break them down intofunctional requirements, drive the execution occasionally acrossmultiple functional areas and teams, and drive/track to businessoutcomes. You will work with our bank partners to define therequirements, coordinate ownership of the requirements, productdesigners to define the user interface and experience, write userstories for developers and quality engineers, and prioritize thebacklog of scrum teams. You will work with scrum masters and devOpsto coordinate sprints, conduct program increments planning, andschedule releases. These activities will feed into a roadmap thatyou will present to key stakeholders for organizational alignmenttowards activities to bring key features and functionality into thehands of our customers.
Expected accountabilities: Work with internal and external customers to analyze the needsand align product roadmap to strategic goals. Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog ofuser stories for implementation. Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the productfeatures so they are clearly understood by the developmentteams. Develop scope and define backlog items (features/user stories)that guide the Agile software development team. Solve product related problems, make decisions, completetrade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverablecommitments. Perform product validation to identify and resolve any issuesprior to being released into market. Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customerexperience integration and dependencies. Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and conceptdevelopment of a product. Accountable for the created product(s), delivering in theproduct model and communicating the product needs with businesspartners. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories andfeatures to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value thatare aligned with product strategy. Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externallyand as the primary contact for queries related to the product. A leader of the scrum team. Work closely with product management and senior management inorder to create a product that fits the company portfolio. Follow our competitors and the industry. Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, newtechnologies opportunities and other new trends.
PreferredSkills/Experience:
Proven experience in Scaled Agile Framework preferred. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, orcomputer engineering. Three or more years of experience with software as a serviceand mobile device management technologies. Creative thinker. Strategic thinking. Deep understanding and experience with Agilemethodologies. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on acommon goal. Interpersonal skills and developing relationships with teammembers and customers. Organizational and time management skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of payment services and point-of-salesoftware.
