ROP) is seeking a Sr. API & Integration Product Manager to join our team hybrid/remote in Atlanta, Georgia or Conway, Arkansas.

Job Summary:

This high-impact role will shape the product strategy for API and integration capabilities across our SaaS TMS platform, helping both customers and partners unlock new value, embed intelligence, and build new business models. This individual will own the product roadmap for the API gateway, Partner and customer IT experience, integration toolsets, and API monetization strategies, while driving the modernization of legacy APIs into flexible, standardized, and secure interfaces for external and internal consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead the strategy and roadmap for a centralized API platform, including gateways, customer IT tooling, and addition integration Focus on automation for speeding up integrations.
Align the

API, EDI

& integrations platform with business, data, and partner integration goals, especially within transportation and logistics.
Own the

API & EDI

product lifecycle, from new service design to migration from legacy technologies (e.g., SOAP, monolith).
Establish and enforce standards for consistency, security, throttling, metering, and access
Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable, low-latency APIs and a self-service customer IT
Build and manage a robust integration layer for seamless connectivity with ERP, CRM, carrier systems, and customer platforms.
Enable rapid integration through pre-built connectors, configuration templates, and transition strategies (e.g., EDI to APIs).
Own the end-to-end partner and customer IT experience, including documentation, sandboxes, onboarding tools, and performance dashboards.
Develop and implement API monetization strategies such as usage-based pricing, tiered access, and premium
Defining and managing metering and throttling to balance customer experience with revenue
Collaborate with Finance and Sales to track API revenue and optimize Partner with teams across Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver value through APIs.
Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to implement authentication, rate-limiting, audit logging, and governance of API contracts and versioning.
Support internal and external customers and partners through enablement focus by evangelizing API capabilities, leading technical discussions, and ensuring successful integrations.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical MBA or advanced degrees in platform strategy or systems architecture are a plus.

Work Experience:

7-10 years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, with at least 3-5 focused on API platforms, developer ecosystems, or integration products.
Proven success leading API modernization initiatives, including migration from monolithic and legacy platforms to microservices and RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of API security, metering, throttling, rate limits, and monetization
Familiarity with API Gateway platforms (e.g., Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway), developer tools, and API
Experience building self-service developer portals, partner enablement flows, and integration
Hands-on experience with API definition and testing (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, GraphQL) is a
Understanding of the enterprise software landscape, especially in transportation, logistics, ERP, or supply chain integrations, is desirable but not required.
Experience launching usage-based business models, data-as-a-service, or monetized API
Prior background in driving external partner integrations and developer
Familiarity with EDI-to-API transition strategies, event-driven architectures, and hybrid cloud environments.
