Day to dayactivities or responsibilities include: conducting market research;generating product requirements; resolving specifications; defininglong-term strategy of the product; creating the product road map;helping drive and support technical delivery end to end; definingscope for releases/product increments; partnering with development,project/program management, marketing, and other essential teammembers to define release schedule; and support/drive go-to-marketactivities as needed.

Job Responsibilities :

Owns product end to end for Device Financing, a complexcross-platform solution used by T-Mobile customers in the deviceand accessory purchase process across all sales channels. Thisincludes creating, managing, maintaining and communicating productvision, roadmap detailed requirements, features, test cases andsupporting business readiness Identifies target customer(s) for existing or future products,and designs and drives end user product research. Partners with business, internal/external team members andLeadership to understand current customer experiences, identifiesareas of opportunity Conducts analysis of quantitative and qualitative data toidentify product innovation opportunities or root cause of issues, and assess opportunitysize and impact. May work with data scientists to answer complexquestions or identify important insights from data. Demonstrates rapid hypothesis driven testing methodologies andexperiments (i.e. paper prototype, A/B testing, etc.) to informdirection, prioritize investment. Conducts cost-benefit / return on investment / NPV analysis,competitive product analysis, to support decision making. Works with partners and follows enterprise process to secureand maintain product funding. Anticipates industry trends, direction, innovation, analysespotential impacts or opportunities to customer / product, andincorporates analyses into product process. Communicates, influences, and sells ideas at VP level andbelow. This includes regularly delivering productpresentations. Drives specific ad hoc analysis and presents information toexecutive level management on request. Influences product feature set and positioning strategies toimprove customer experience, and drive or support growth. Works with external third parties to assess partnerships andlicensing opportunities. Maintains current understanding of tech trends. Assesses howtrends impact the roadmap or create opportunity for innovation ofthe product. Maximises customer insights for product vision, strategy,roadmap, priorities. Dedicates time to customers actively meeting with them to builddeeper appreciation and understand their needs and priorities. Create, lead, cultivate an active VOC feed for themselves andteam. Actively looks for opportunities to delight or meet customer’sunmet needs. Evangelizes and advocates for the customer both internally (ICthrough C level) and externally, perpetuating the customer-firstattitude. Creates an environment and culture where the team is immersedin customer-first attitude. Tests ideas with real customers to ensure that the productdelivers the desired benefit. Translates product/platform strategy by writing detailedfeatures and user stories consumable for Dev teams for highlycomplex products with multiple transactions and touchpoints. Thiswork may include creation of prototypes. Owns and handles product backlog and priorities with ourbusiness and technology partners. Backlog at this level typicallyserves 5

  • 8 Agile / Scrum / Sprint teams, often with dependencieson other internal and external teams.

Scopes and ensures alignment on the prioritization ofactivities based on business and customer impact. Collaborates with Architecture and Dev teams to ensuretechnical debt and long term technical investment is factored intoroadmap. Ensures existing production defects are factored into regularbacklog prioritization for resolution based on priority. Collaborates with partners and Dev / Execution teams to createand communicate anticipated release schedule. Generates and maintains dashboards and reports that trackproduct health and success metrics. Conduct Product Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) and Steeringmeetings. Runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products andsamples. Collaborates with advertising and public relations to promoteproduct. Supports sales, marketing, and other partner teams with thenecessary product knowledge and additional documentation. Assists with the overall execution relating to all aspects ofthe software development process, from defining the strategy andarchitecture through deployment and support. Recognizes and communicates technical challenges tocollaborators and makes educated trade-off decisions with theteam. Accountable for product quality and performance in productionenvironment. Accountable for product team response in event ofcritical or high impacting defect, including communications topartners at all levels.. Handles development of adoption tools and trainingmaterials. Identify execution, operational, organizational issues thatimpede product success. Drive improvement plan to change or resolveissues (within sphere of influence). Relationship & People, Professional Development Collaborates and develops positive working relationships withmany teams, including sales, commercial accounting, marketing,legal, go-to-market, and finance. Works with outside partners andother third parties. Develops positive working relationships with Customer groups orCustomer Representatives. Maintains professional knowledge by attending educationalworkshops; reviews professional publications; establishes personalnetworks; participates in professional societies. Develops adoption tools and training material.

Qualifications:
Work Experience :

7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agilesoftware product development environment. Advanced levelunderstanding of customer experience. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Product Lifecycle Management Experience in delivering large andcomplex business/technology initiatives. (Required) Communication Consistent record to effectively and efficientlycommunicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree ofcollaboration and influence. (Required) Agile Shown success in directing matrixed resources anddelivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and othercommonly used tools, across multiple teams.
