Job Summary:
The Retail Data & Insights Manager is responsible for managing and analyzing internal and point-of-sale (POS) data to support strategic decision-making across retail functions. This role serves as the key liaison between business teams and data partners, delivering insights and enabling data-driven recommendations for retail sales, promotions, and shopper engagement.
Responsibilities:
Manage POS data systems and ensure accurate, timely uploads (e.g., TPM POS input). Develop promotional ROI analyses and create supporting presentations. Serve as the main contact with internal Business Intelligence (BI) and Data teams. Provide data to support retail strategy development and performance tracking. Maintain and improve E-commerce and Omni-channel dashboards. Mine third-party data sources (Numerator, Kantar, Packaged Facts, etc.) to extract insights. Translate shopper and retail data into actionable, customer-facing narratives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Insights & Analytics teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. 5-8 years of experience in retail analytics, data management, or a related field. Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with a background in data visualization and presentation. Experience working with third-party research tools and cross-functional teams.
