Catalyst’s unparalleled focus on quality and service make it a leading manufacturing in the growing supplements industry. We are seeking a Product Manager for The Genius Brand (as well as a portfolio of smaller brands). This is a critical “hub of the wheel” role that connects multiple business functions throughout the organization to optimize the product portfolio from “cradle to grave”. The responsibilities for this role will focus on managing the product lifecycle from a business perspective including ideation, development, commercialization, pricing, and portfolio optimization. The role’s success requires working closely with various cross functional partners including marketing, product development & formulation, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, and more. The role is based in the Atlanta Metro area and requires in office presence at Catalyst, headquartered in Buford, GA at least 3 days per week. Some travel will be required (10%-20%)
Responsibilities:
Product Launch Leadership:
Lead end-to-end product launch cycles from concept to commercialization, utilizing the StageGate process to ensure structured and successful execution.
Strategic Plan Execution and Oversight:
Translate both short- and long-term strategic plans into actionable steps, driving initiatives that align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes to ensure progress toward annual objectives and key performance indicators.
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the product management and commercialization lifecycle, enhancing overall efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with R D, regulatory, supply chain, and external marketing agencies to ensure alignment and seamless execution across all stages of product development to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
Product Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed product documentation and technical specifications to support internal teams and ensure consistency throughout the product lifecycle.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Conduct in-depth research on industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions and strengthen brand positioning.
Business Analysis & Critical Thinking:
Apply high-level critical thinking and business acumen to gather, analyze, and interpret complex information for strategic planning and execution.
Forecasting S&OP:
“Own” the product forecast for the brand, including participation in S&OP and forecast meetings, reducing obsolete inventory and minimizing waste.
Strategic Pricing:
Develop and adjust strategic pricing which includes working with tools to seek and identify value-based pricing across tiers (e.g. value, mainstream, premium). Qualifications/Experience Demonstrated success in product or brand management roles. Exceptional analytical abilities and strategic mindset. Skilled at simplifying complex challenges into clear, actionable strategies. Strong communicator with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in project management and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Meticulous attention to detail with strengths in documentation and process improvement. Enthusiastic about innovation and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability and a strong sense of ownership over brand initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience, MBA preferred. Minimum 2 (two) years of relevant product management experience. Prior project management experience required. Working knowledge of the nutraceuticals industry is strongly preferred
