Job Summary Oversees the acquisition, maintenance, and compliance of software licenses within the Technology, Operations and Security organization. Team Member will ensure that licenses are properly managed, tracked, and utilized to avoid non-compliance and cost overruns. This role involves understanding licensing agreements, managing contracts, and optimizing license usage to ensure the organization’s software needs are met efficiently and legally. Job Duties and Responsibilities Tracks license expirations, renewals, and potential overages. Ensures the organization has the necessary licenses to support its operations. Ensures that all software and hardware licenses are used in compliance with the vendor’s terms and conditions. Conducts regular audits to verify license compliance and identify any discrepancies. Develops and implements processes to monitor software usage and license consumption. Identifies unused or underutilized licenses and recommending reallocation or remediation. Analyzes software usage patterns to identify potential efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Develops and documents the software license demand management process. Maintains a comprehensive software license inventory, including proof of purchase and license keys. Generates reports on software usage, license consumption, and compliance status. Develops and maintains support documentation for all software licenses. Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience:
Five years of experience in managing software contracts, vendor relationships, knowledge of software and hardware management tools and processes.

Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including legal counsel, management, vendors, and government regulators Analytical ability Ability to work well under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Proficiency using word processing and spreadsheet software programs
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience working with software license management tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Landesk and/or Flexera Software Knowledge of software vendor licensing rules and terms including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and Novell Information Technology Infrastructure Library certification (ITIL)
