Millwork Product Line Manager 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 1255 Grand Army Of The Republic Highway, Somerset, MA 02725 Product Manager- Custom Doors and Mouldings- Custom Millwork Department The Captiva Product Line Manager will lead and oversee the business line of custom wood doors, windows, and mouldings under the Captiva brand, with a primary focus on the door segment. This role demands a strong entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills, ensuring the aggressive growth of revenue and brand recognition while maintaining high-quality standards. The Product Manager will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders – operations, estimating, vendors, CAD, technology, sales, and marketing to drive success and deliver exceptional and continuously improving products to the market.

This position entails:

Leadership and Team Management:

Provide direction, mentorship, and oversight to the estimating team, while acting as the key liaison with the other teams that have a hand in ensuring Captiva’s success. Set clear objectives and work towards the vision of growth, quality, and brand recognition.

Quote and Order Processing:

Oversee the quote and order workflow, ensuring timely (95% < 48hrs), accurate, and efficient responses to customer requests. Continue to streamline the process and minimize issues between sales and fulfillment to ensure excellent sustainable customer experience.

Research and Development:

Lead the development of new products and enhancements to existing offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and align with Captiva’s strategic goals. Work closely internal and external stakeholders to bring innovative ideas to life while maintaining quality standards.

Operational Analysis and Improvement:

Assist operations in continuously assessing operational processes to identify areas for improvement, focusing on increasing efficiency, quality, and scalability. Requires constant learning to increase technical understanding of manufacturing.

Quality Control:

Collaborate with operations to implement quality control systems that ensure high standards both in product aesthetics and performance. Collaborate with sales to review warranty claims and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure Captiva products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.

Competitive Analysis & Go-to-Market Strategy:

Monitor market trends and analyze competitors to develop strategies that enhance Captiva’s market positioning. Work with sales and marketing teams to craft effective go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with customer needs and our growth objectives.

Required Experience:

Associate degree or equivalent years of business experience. 5 years of industry related millwork experience. In depth knowledge of the Door and Moulding line capabilities.

Leadership:

a demonstrated ability to lead and achieve results through others. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Current drivers’ license and reliable transportation for travel with sales or to customer locations Ability to multi-task and set priorities. Knowledge of sales margins, mark ups. Computer knowledge of PC’s Ability to solve problems and make sound business decisions.
