Job Description
We are looking for a Director of Product Management to support our growing Product team and lead our Business Analyst team. This role will primarily be responsible for product strategy, implementation partner management, business process mapping, requirements gathering, user story writing, support technical design and documentation. You will lead a team of professionals to execute on our platform product strategy. Where will you work?
- This is a full-time position working onsite in one of our home offices or remotely What You’ll Do
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Manage implementation partner delivery, timelines and process
- Defining the vision for the team’s product
- Creating a product road map based on this vision
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
- Developing user stories
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Engage and drive the Business Analyst team What You’ll Bring
- 7-10 years experience in Product, Ecommerce, Engineering or similar roles
- Working knowledge of product development architecture
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Understanding of design quality standard
Physical Requirements:
Work environment involves slight physical risks that require following basic safety precautions. Normal office activity including keyboarding, interacting with others, participating in meetings, extended periods of sitting and/or standing in an open office environment. Light physical effort (usually lifting/moving up to 25 pounds) Ability to work extended hours and weekends on occasion. Must be online during eastern time zone business hours. Some travel required.
