Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Sr. Product Developer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in software engineering or development, particularly within the Microsoft Power Platform. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining advanced solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. This full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to impact our business operations directly while working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and maintain solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform to streamline business workflows and automate manual tasks. Develop reusable components, scripts, and frameworks to support administrative processes and business operations. Collaborate with Business Analysts and internal stakeholders to identify and analyze business problems, processes, and data to propose effective solutions. Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance. Iteratively work with colleagues, customers, and third parties during product development and quality assurance to ensure alignment with design specifications and business needs. Provide timely responses and solutions to issues that arise during day-to-day support of projects. Contribute to the development of standards and best practices for solutions built within the power platform, including governance and operating models. Collect, interpret, and report data findings to internal or external stakeholders to inform business decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or a related field. At least four years of experience in software engineering or development roles. Hands-on experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, PowerBI) or other low-code/no-code platforms preferred. Programming or development experience in languages such as R, Python, Java, .Net, C#, or Visual Basic, preferably on automation and/or integration projects. Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar applications is a plus. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work on basic-to-moderately complex programming assignments and understand APIs, command line, client-server architecture, and networks. Exposure to methodologies like Lean, Six-Sigma, and Agile development preferred. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Valid driver’s license required and willingness to travel as needed to support project requirements.
