Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Automotive Cloud SME to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Automotive Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of both Salesforce architecture and the automotive industry’s unique customer journeys and data models. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver scalable CRM solutions that enhance customer engagement and drive operational efficiency across the automotive lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on Salesforce Automotive Cloud and related technologies. Design, implement, and manage scalable CRM solutions tailored to automotive use cases (e.g., sales, service, connected vehicle, digital retail). Translate business requirements into system design, configuration, and customized solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, service, IT) to define and improve customer journeys. Integrate Salesforce with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), IoT platforms, CDPs, ERP, and third-party tools. Develop and optimize data models for vehicles, households, dealers, and service events using the Automotive Data Foundation (ADF). Leverage Einstein AI, CRM Analytics, and automation to drive personalization and insights. Conduct workshops, training, and enablement sessions for users and stakeholders. Stay current with Salesforce Automotive Cloud updates, roadmap, and industry best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem with at least 3+ years specifically in Salesforce Automotive Cloud. Strong understanding of automotive industry operations, including OEM-dealer relationships, vehicle lifecycle, and customer experience challenges. Hands-on experience with Automotive Data Foundation (ADF), Lead & Opportunity Management, and Vehicle Graphs. Experience in integrating Salesforce with DMS, ERP, and marketing automation platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Salesforce certifications (must have) – Salesforce Automotive Cloud 7 Modules completed (Partner Learning Camp) and Trailhead modules completed.
