Position Description
The Product Manager Senior will define the strategy, roadmap, and commercialization process for Edge and Telcom data facility cooling products, ensuring it meets customer needs and aligns with business growth goals by leading cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from conception to launch and beyond, while making strategic decisions based on market analysis and user feedback.
Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy:

Conduct formal and informal market research to capture Voice of Customer, identify customer needs and market opportunities
Define short-term and long-term product strategy, create and manage product roadmap based on this strategy
Ensure products comply with industry standards and regulations.
Stay connected with industrial associations and updated with industry trends to insure well-informed product strategy and its long-term viability

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

Generate new product development proposals based on VoC and market feedback
Lead new product specification effort and own final product spec
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products
Oversee the lifecycle of products from ideation to retirement
Act as the owner and gatekeeper of all product literatures, and ensure a streamlined process in defining, developing and managing these critical documents

Development Program Management:

Lead a limited number of key product development programs to ensure timely and successful delivery of new products
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Product Marketing:

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products.
Create compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
Own pricing strategy, and responsible for managing price book and maintaining price policies at macro level
Work closely with internal and external marketing resources to develop and implement marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and sales tools.
Coordinate closely with sales team and channel partners to conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and inform product positioning.
Support sales teams with product training and presentations to ensure effective product launch and adoption.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters.
Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with market demands.
Present product updates and performance reports to senior management.

Financial Performance:

Develop and manage product budgets and P&L.
Analyze product performance data to inform strategic decisions and drive profitability.
Identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities.

Implement best practices in product management and program management.

Required Education & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product management, business development, or similar techno-commercial roles; with experience in the data center cooling industry preferred.

Project Management:

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage program baselines, schedules, budgets, and technical risks. Proven experience in hardware engineering program management or similar is a plus.
Commercial Experience Strong commercial and technical skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional, process-driven global organization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus)
