The Role Director, Program Development & Management We are seeking a dynamic individual with multifaceted experiences and the ability to lead sophisticated end-to-end programs and partner with other teams to identify and implement new insights! You should like sharing research and data-based opinions and should have a proven track record of problem solving and working independently towards defining and achieving business strategy and objectives. Strong execution skills are imperative. The team member in this role will be met with roadblocks and should be adept at creative problem solving. This position will engage with and require building positive relationships with numerous other business teams. Our team focuses on reimagining and leading existing programs and uncovering, incubating, and delivering new ones! We support existing programs, requiring you to define the scope of work, coordinate activities across teams, and report results to senior leadership. We also deliver growth initiatives and work across the enterprise to identify business development opportunities and launch new programs, and you will be central role to this team function. Reporting to Vice President, Program Development and Management, team members work closely with the Vice President, Business Innovation to lead efforts to strengthen and evolve programs to better meet the needs of Fidelity Charitable. You will evaluate opportunities for developing deeper partnerships with other strategic Fidelity businesses and will assist fellow program managers and their programs. The Expertise And Skills You Bring Experience in program or product development, ideally with experience in research and business strategy with a mentality toward growth and innovation. Ability to define, scope, and lead research projects from start to finish. Ability to deliver multidimensional projects while displaying project management expertise and capacity to develop and implement detailed project plans. Expertise with new business development and an understanding of common product/program management and development principles. Strong data analysis skills with capability to collect and synthesize data and distill findings into actionable business insights. Ability to implement, driven by positive relationships and consensus-driving skills. Bias towards action, even in the midst of ambiguity which requires flexibility. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with a team. Capacity to use written communication and presentation skills to deliver updates to senior audiences. Competence to analyze data to make well informed recommendations.
