Technical Products Lead is a professional sales support role providing technical product information to assist both internal and external customers involved in selling, installing, or repairing Current Lighting luminaires. This position requires extensive knowledge of LED lighting, both indoor and outdoor, fixture lighting controls, and lighting poles and brackets. Teamwork is required in this fast-paced environment to meet the demands of the department.
Essential Responsibilities Review Customer technical luminaire specifications for product compliance and deliver bid collateral to Sales staff to support bids. Assist customers with product selection including configuration, compatibility, and substitutions.
Answer internal and external product questions via email and phone which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Provide technical information to both Technical and Non-Technical customers.
Assist customers with trouble shooting products and product installation. Requires knowledge of electrical wiring of luminaries.
Provide product solutions to overcome site limitations for product placement. Provide guidance to Sales staff and Agents regarding

UL, ANSI, IES, NEC, & NEMA

standards as it applies to luminaries.

Qualifications
Minimum 4-year BS technical degree from an accredited university or a 2-year technical degree from an accredited college and at least five years of technical experience in lighting industry.
Knowledge of Indoor and Outdoor Luminaires, controls, lighting poles, mounting brackets, electrical wiring, industry product standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under limited supervision.
Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $56,000 – $65,000. Benefits and Perks
