Role:

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Digital Product Management. You will contribute to large-scale planning and review and analyze challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Your role will involve resolving issues and collaborating with client personnel to meet Digital Product Management deliverables, leveraging a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage roadmaps for digital product initiatives. Maintain a healthy backlog of items, ensuring they are appropriately linked (Story – Feature – Epic). Accept user stories after they meet acceptance criteria and the definition of done. Collaborate with L2/L3 product managers on the overall product intention map. Establish, communicate, and monitor product area goals and performance indicators. Facilitate frequent collaboration between stakeholders and teams throughout the product lifecycle. Prioritize a clearly understood product area backlog aligned with product area vision and goals. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop a world-class user experience. Work with product analysts to define and refine user stories, including business readiness stories, ensuring acceptance criteria are clearly understood. Ensure all known work is added to the backlog and made transparent. Identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas. Answer questions and address escalated impediments. Maintain continuous communication with the product manager and delivery teams. Coordinate with scrum masters, delivery leads, and other supporting roles shared across delivery teams.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in Digital Product Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military, or education. 4-6 years of experience with Agile (Scrum) processes and leading scrum teams. 4-6 years of experience as an Agile Product Owner.

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of Agile Scrum processes and comfortable leading scrum teams. Stakeholder management and engagement. User experience (customer and/or employee experience journey). Familiarity with AI/Chatbot technologies preferred but not required. Comfortable working with stakeholders and various team members, especially product analysts and technology teams. Experience in feature and user story creation; review user stories created by product analysts. Roadmap creation and management. Backlog refinement.

Desired Skills:

1-2 years of experience with Confluence. 4-6 years of experience with user stories.
