About This Role:

This Product Management position resides within the CarrierReplacement Components (RC) business and is responsible formanagement of commercial replacement parts for the PackagedAir-Cooled & Water-Cooled chiller business. The focus will be ondriving growth and profitability in sales to distribution as wellas new channels (for example: data centers) and will requirecross-functional collaboration with both replacement components andcommercial product teams. We seek an experienced HVAC Product Manager who is a motivated,self-starter to work in a fast-paced environment in eitherCharlotte, NC, Syracuse, NY offices or remote if exceptionallyqualified.

Key Responsibilities:

Product management with a cross functional team to achievegoals, including sales and product forecasts, pricing, gross marginanalysis, and assisting with the execution of marketstrategy. Performs significant data analysis to identify opportunitiesand then translate into customer value propositions/sales pathforward. Owns and develops elements of functional strategies andoperational goals with packaged chiller products to provide productsupport for new product development as well as corporate strategicinitiatives. Will focus on the operational plans for short term items, suchas product launches, including new part set up with pricing, grossmargin, and other required information. Recommends and implements business opportunity plans in supportof potential new business. Manage and/or execute the tasksassociated with the plan. Analyze competitive product feature, benefits, pricing andrecommend appropriate actions to provide competitive portfolio ofproducts. Provide and analyze sales and product reports by customer andby channel. Provide product information, legal approved product claims tosupport marketing materials. Provide support for product videos oron-line learning module script development and review. Support the RC Parts Information Management (PIM) process toensure there is electronic data and images to be used ine-commerce. Provide timely responses to difficult & complex inquiries andbuild product and brand loyalty with RC’s customers. Focus and conduct extensive investigation of process gaps tobetter understand and implement a more robust and timely process tosupport to sales and customers. Managing existing processes to find ways to grow the businessand drives customer satisfaction. Utilize solutions that could beunique in order to keep the business on the cutting edge. Needs to communicate cross-functionally across the partiesinside the organization, as well as outside theorganization. Requires the ability to communicate to executive leadershipregarding matters of high importance. May require makingrecommendations to senior leadership on the best course ofactions. Conduct product training sessions online & face to face atcustomer training events for 50+ attendees. Support distributor events such as open houses and trade showsto discuss and demo products. Provide support and training to RC Sales team.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of work experience in engineering, product management,sales, and/or marketing 3+ years of working experience in CHVAC Ability to travel up to 20% of time 2+ years of experience in forecasts, pricing, and gross margincalculation 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, andPowerPoint) with proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Work experience with chiller in the CHVAC Specific knowledge of the HVAC/R or related industry andreplacement parts & accessories Proficiency with SAP, WindChill, SalesForce, and BusinessIntelligence systems is desired Previous project management experience Strong communication skills with the ability to interact andcollaborate with a cross-functional team Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-initiative, and sense ofownership Willingness to learn and flexible approach is highlydesired Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities Excellent follow through skills #
