Position Summary:

The Senior Product Formulator of Product Development at Adaptive Health will contribute to formulating, developing, and launching innovative dietary supplements within the Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) division. This role supports the entire product development process from concept through scale-up and commercialization, requiring strong technical expertise in dietary supplement formulation, scientific analysis, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure formula feasibility and readiness for product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the end-to-end launch process for new and reformulated products, focusing on innovation while applying best practices in formulation, process development, and cost optimization.
Evaluate ingredients based on scientific evidence, quality, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure feasibility and market readiness. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product efficacy, quality, and competitive positioning.
Market & Regulatory Insights
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and scientific advancements relevant to dietary supplements.
Ensure all products comply with applicable regulations (e.g., FDA, c

GMP, FTC

) and align with internal quality standards.
Vendor & Partner Management
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key raw material vendors to support the development and production pipeline.
Other Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned in support of the product development team.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in product development (or Master’s degree with 6+ years). Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated success in creating innovative, science-driven products with measurable success. Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of dietary ingredients, formulation principles, scientific research, technical troubleshooting, and launch execution.
Familiarity with

DSHEA, FDA, FTC

guidelines, cGMP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
