Cary, NC Hybrid (flexible on days/week in office) About the Role We’re searching for a Senior Product Owner with a passion for data-driven solutions to lead the direction and development of a Business Intelligence product. In this high-impact role, you’ll own the vision for a reporting and analytics platform designed to empower users with actionable insights. You’ll collaborate across departments to shape intuitive dashboards, scalable visualizations, and meaningful reporting tools that help drive business performance. Key Responsibilities Define and drive the roadmap for a data-focused product centered around dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools. Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, and customer-facing teams to deliver an intuitive Business Intelligence experience. Translate business and user needs into features that provide real-time visibility and decision-making power through data. Lead initiatives that turn raw data into user-friendly reports and visualizations. Stay on top of data trends, tools, and customer feedback to guide innovation in the product. Own backlog grooming, feature prioritization, and sprint planning with a focus on high-value data capabilities. Continuously analyze product usage and performance metrics to optimize insights delivery and usability. Promote a shared understanding of the product vision and reporting capabilities across the organization. What You Bring Extensive experience as a Product Owner (or equivalent) within a SaaS or data-rich environment. Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts, data visualization techniques, and reporting best practices. Proven ability to lead the development of data-centric products that translate complex information into simple, actionable visuals. Comfort with analytics platforms, data models, and partnering with technical teams to deliver reliable insights. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Exceptional communication and organization skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Experience working in Agile teams and managing evolving priorities. Bonus Points For Background in the hospitality or service industries. Familiarity with modern BI stacks (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and embedded analytics. Understanding of APIs and how to leverage third-party integrations for data enrichment. Track record of launching data products with measurable impact on user behavior or business KPIs. Experience developing configurable reporting solutions for varied user roles and needs.
