Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) competes in the $100 Billion+ worldwide market of enterprise products including server, networking, storage and enterprise solutions. The ISG Server business unit is responsible for product portfolio planning, product definition, product go-to-market plans, product launch activities as well as full lifecycle ownership of the servers and options. The Global Product Manager will be responsible for managing the OEM Server offerings. As a Product Manager you will work with team members worldwide from Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations to develop and deliver new OEM offerings that solve customer pain points and grow Lenovo’s server business.
This position will be located in Morrisville, NC.
Position Duties:
Define OEM offerings across various products to ensure they meet our customers current and future requirements
Develop and implement an OEM roadmap that based on collaboration with customers, OEM GTM team, partners and vendors
Maintain detailed and high-level roadmaps to help guide the sales team on future opportunities
Work closely with internal and external partners to understand technology trends, the OEM market, as well as planning go-to-market/demand gen activities
Ability to drive the offering delivery team to successfully deliver new OEM offerings, at the targeted cost and with the committed scope
Ability to adapt quickly to market changes, new technologies and to adjust strategies accordingly
Ensure successful product launches by engaging with the product marketing managers for go-to-market activities and deliverables
Drive effective new product introductions including creating product disclosures and competitive analyses to train geography product and sales teams
Regularly interlock with segment, category and sales teams to monitor business results and provide support for opportunities as needed
Ensure that product financial goals are met throughout the product lifecycle by managing the associated financial metrics and initiate corrective actions as necessary
Participate in industry events and customer meetings as needed
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field
3+ years of experience in OEM product management, product marketing, sales or related fields
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written & presentation skills
Proven track record managing enterprise OEM products/solutions for mature & emerging markets, preferably at a global technology company
Graduate level degree (MS or MBA) is a plus
Strong Oral and Written Communicator – ability to get the point across
Self-motivated but comfortable in a team environment while also independently delivering results
Ability to present to and influence senior management and key stakeholders across the organization
Comfortable talking to customers and business partners
Handle multiple tasks with the capability to prioritize between multiple deadlines
