Description and Requirements Our E-Commerce business has a corporate mandate for growth and an exciting opportunity to support development of our global strategic agenda. Reporting to the COO of Global eCommerce, this role plays a critical role supporting and shaping the strategic direction and scalability of Lenovo’s E-Commerce business. The person in this role will be responsible for identifying and/or developing new tools for to enhance the customer experience and scalability of the eCommerce business. This is an ideal position for a confident and self-motivated individual to use their analytical, communication, and project management skills on a global scale to solve problems, deliver proactive and insightful analysis and drive relevant business decisions.

Responsibilities include:
Business Problem Definition:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define problems that can be addressed through analytics and AI and then translating business needs into analytical questions. Collaborate with technical and product managers to define requirements.

Use Case Development:

Identify, prioritize, and develop AI use cases to streamline business processes, estimating their impact, feasibility, and ROI
Buy vs

Build Analysis:

Leverage market knowledge to facilitate buy vs build conversations with stakeholders

Communication and Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and outcomes

Project Management:

Own analytics projects end-to-end, from problem identification and prioritization to communicating results and measuring business value

Capability Adoption and Training:

Participate in and contribute to training programs, workshops, and forums to drive adoption across team members and business partners

Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with end users, mid-level managers and executives to ensure the adoption and effective use of analytics insights

Model Validation and Implementation:

Validate analytical models and usability, ensure their alignment with business needs, and facilitate their integration into business processes

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
5+ years of AI and product development experience
10+ years of relevant experience in data science, data engineering, consulting, or a related field
Desired Skills

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of advanced analytics, data engineering, and IT. Familiarity with data modeling and analytics tools

Business Acumen:

Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate technical outputs into business insights

Project Management:

Proven experience in managing projects, with a high-energy and passionate outlook, and a strong sense of ownership

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders
This role is based in Morrisville, NC, and follows a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
