A Flexible Ducting Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of a company’s flexible ducting product line, encompassing everything from new product development to market launch and ongoing improvement. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, market awareness, and business acumen to ensure the product portfolio meets customer needs and business goals.

Product Strategy & Planning:

Define the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy for flexible ducting products.

Market Analysis:

Conduct research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.

New Product Development:

Identify and develop new flexible ducting products, features, and enhancements.

Product Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to obsolescence, including product testing, launch, and ongoing improvement.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure product development and launch success.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

Develop and execute marketing plans, including messaging, pricing, and promotional materials, to drive product adoption.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

Customer Engagement:

Gather customer feedback and voice-of-customer (VOC) data to inform product development and improvement.

Technical Expertise:

Possess a strong understanding of flexible ducting materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.

Base salary:

$75,000-$125,000 DOE Please no recruiters or agencies.

Requirements:

Education –

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Experience managing product development projects from start to finish.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of flexible ducting materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Market Knowledge:

Understanding of the flexible ducting market, including customer needs, competitors, and industry trends.
