We deliverworld-class service to all of our clients, from wealth advisors tofamily offices to endowments and foundations. About this Role Weare looking for a Vice President to join the Commercial Strategy &Strategic Partnerships team within our SMA Solutions business unit.

The Commercial Strategy & Strategic Partnerships team isresponsible for leading commercial strategy efforts for thebusiness, driving new and innovative product solutions, andengaging with our largest and most complex strategic partners. TheVice President will be responsible for leading development andexecution of the SMA Solutions product roadmap. The role ismulti-faceted and will help position the SMA business of thefuture, by innovating on new product solutions and combinations.

Many of our product solutions are in a growth position and theindividual who fills this role will play an integral part offinding synergies in capabilities and unifying our product suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive SMA Solutions ProductRoadmap for SMA Solutions
  • primarily Equity & Bonds
  • andincluding product combinations and innovations
  • Chair the SMASolutions Product Committee
  • in place for prioritizing, approving,and monitoring product development and launch initiatives
  • Ideateon new and innovative features and products
  • partner withstrategists, research, PM, Fundamental Equity and GFI, GPS, tounderstand BlackRock product initiatives and opportunities
  • Develop plan and project manage new products and combinations
  • Understand client needs and requirements via voice-of-clientresearch
  • Develop keen understanding of industry trends andcapabilities
  • Work with internal and 3rd party partners tounderstand technical and operational requirements for execution
  • Partner with Global Product, US Wealth, Portfolio Management, andInstitutional client teams to ensure appropriate positioning ofSMA’s within broader firm initiatives and product campaigns
  • SMASolutions lead to partner with teams on Whole Portfolio initiatives
  • Effectively balance strategic and ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
  • Experienced product manager with track record of innovation,development, and launches of product
  • Ability to lead andinfluence large, cross-functional virtual teams
  • Demonstratedproject management and organizational skills
  • Flexible,responsive, and self-starting personality. Demonstrated experienceworking both independently and as part of a team in a highlycollaborative, complex environment
  • Experience with retailfinancial advisor industry and familiarity with separately managedaccounts a strong plus
  • Strong time management, organizational andproblem-solving skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate objectivesand influence outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills along with demonstrated analytical ability
  • Effectivepublic speaking and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn andunderstand all aspects of the SMA business
Requirements :
  • 7-10years of relevant asset management industry experience with SMAexperience preferred
  • Knowledge of capital markets, portfolioconstruction
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excel, PowerPoint,Word
  • and experience with Project management tools
